To speed things up, tell us your iPhone model, your iOS version, your Drakonect version (shown in the profile) and, if you can, what you were doing when the problem happened.
We reply as soon as we can. We would rather not display a guaranteed response time until we can reliably meet it.
Screen Time permission
Drakonect needs Screen Time permission to pause apps. That is an iOS constraint: no app can block another app without it.
- To grant it after declining: Settings, Screen Time, then relaunch Drakonect.
- To withdraw it: Settings, Screen Time. Drakonect can then no longer pause apps, but your progress is kept.
- On a simulator, or on a device managed by an organisation, the permission may be unavailable: the app detects this and stays usable in discovery mode.
Choosing which apps get paused
Selection happens in the picker Apple provides, which lists your apps and whole categories. You can select an entire category — social networking, for example — rather than picking apps one by one.
If the list looks empty, check that Screen Time permission was granted, then relaunch the app.
During and after a session
- You can stop a session at any time. Time already completed still counts, as long as there is enough of it.
- A session stopped too early is simply cancelled, with no mood penalty.
- If an app stays blocked after a session ends, open Drakonect once: it lifts the restrictions on the next launch.
Subscription and purchases
- Restore a purchase
- From the Profile screen, use “Restore purchases”. Make sure you are signed in with the Apple account used for the original purchase.
- Manage or cancel the subscription
- Settings, your name, Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; to avoid renewal, cancel at least 24 hours before that date.
- Request a refund
- Refunds are handled by Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com. We have no technical ability to refund an App Store purchase.
Your data
Drakonect works without an account. Your progress is stored locally on your iPhone.
- To erase everything: the Profile screen has an option to delete local data.
- Deleting the app also removes local data and the space shared with the extensions.
- Because progress is not synced, it does not automatically move to a new iPhone unless you use a device backup.
The full details are in the privacy policy.
Compatibility and Android
Drakonect runs on iPhone, from iOS 17 upwards, in portrait orientation.
An Android version is planned. No date has been announced, there is no Google Play listing yet, and no waiting list is open.
