Terms of use
These terms govern the use of the Drakonect iPhone app and of this website. By using them, you accept these terms.

What the service is
Drakonect is an iPhone focus app. For a length of time you choose, it pauses apps and categories you select, using Apple’s Screen Time framework, and ties those sessions to the progress of a virtual companion.
Drakonect is not a medical device and provides no diagnosis, treatment or therapeutic support. It is not a substitute for advice from a health professional.
Access and compatibility
The app requires an iPhone running iOS 17 or later, and Screen Time permission. Without that permission, pausing apps is technically impossible.
No account is needed. There is no sign-up, no password, and no identification data is requested.
Rules of use
You agree to use Drakonect for its intended purpose and in accordance with applicable law. In particular, the following are prohibited:
- attempting to circumvent, reverse-engineer, decompile or alter the app;
- using the app to restrict someone else’s phone without their agreement;
- any action harming the security or availability of the service.
“Ancestral Bond” subscription
The app is free to download and usable without a subscription. The optional “Ancestral Bond” subscription unlocks additional content: the Young and Adult evolutions, extra scale colours, habitats and sanctuaries, cosmetic rewards and special streak shields.
- Free trial
- The current offer includes a 7-day free trial. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts automatically and is charged.
- Pricing
- Indicative pricing: €39.99 per year or €4.99 per month. The exact price for your country is shown by the App Store before you confirm any purchase, and that price prevails.
- Renewal
- The subscription renews automatically for an identical period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal is charged to your Apple account.
- Cancellation
- Management and cancellation happen only in your Apple account settings: Settings, your name, Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period and does not trigger a pro-rata refund.
- Refunds
- Refund requests are handled by Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com. Drakonect has no technical ability to refund an App Store purchase.
Purchases are purely cosmetic and tied to personalising your companion. Nothing you buy grants a progression advantage: experience and streaks depend only on your sessions.
The applicable end-user licence agreement is Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.

Right of withdrawal
For digital content supplied immediately, the fourteen-day right of withdrawal may not apply once performance has begun with your express agreement and your acknowledgement that you lose that right. The conditions that apply are those presented by Apple at the time of purchase.
Intellectual property
The app, the website, the Drakonect name, the logos, illustrations, characters, environments, music and texts are protected by intellectual property law and remain the property of their rights holder.
No reproduction, adaptation or distribution, in whole or in part, is permitted without prior written agreement. A subscription grants a personal, non-exclusive right of use, not a transfer of ownership.
Apple, App Store, iPhone and Screen Time are trademarks of Apple Inc. Mentioning them implies neither partnership nor endorsement by Apple.
Availability and liability
The service is provided as is. We take reasonable steps to keep it available, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation — for instance during maintenance, in the event of an outage, or if Apple changes the Screen Time framework.
Drakonect cannot be held liable for the consequences of app pausing that you configured yourself, nor for being unable to open an app during a session you started. You remain in control of your settings and can stop a session at any time.
We are not liable for indirect damages. Nothing here limits the rights the law grants to consumers, including the statutory guarantee of conformity.
Changes to these terms
These terms may change, for example to reflect new features or regulatory developments. The version that applies is the one published on this page, with its update date shown at the top.
